The relationship I have with plants has definitely 'grown' overtime. When I first moved out, I was determined to start growing my own little garden-even more ambitious, have house plants to care for. At the beginning I went out and planted some Aster, Basil, and Parsley. For house plants, I was gifted an Aloe and a Spider plant. My garden...failed miserably, my house plants on the other hand were forgiving. Which I later learned from our guest that both my indoor plants were a good choices for newbies. After that, It took moving multiple times to really expand my knowledge and responsibility that comes to taking care of something. They are in fact, living. The best mentality that helped me was to treat it as such- put in the effort and love into them and they return will love you back! Of course, it's something I am still trying to work on...as of now I am happy to say I have a growing little garden that tragically suffers from the anxiety attachment from occasional neglect. Tory and I both agreed, we have had shared our failed attempts of being good plant mama's. So when Stormy was kind enough to come on. I was so thrilled to be able to learn more about easy plants to start off in your home. Happy Growing!
